Statement

Statement about the cancellation of my membership to the "Freie Deutsche Jugend - Free German Youth" and the "GST - Association of Sport and Technology" in former Socialistic Eastern Germany(GDR)

Herewith I, Peter Recknagel, born on 25th of October 1971 in Suhl, the former German Democratic Republic, state, that I do withdraw completely from the membership to the "Freie Deutsche Jugend - Free German Youth" and the "Gesellschaft fur Sport and Technik - Association of Sport and Technology".

The reason is, that I understand now the real contense of the socialistic and communistic systems and now I do not want to have any connection with any former socialistic state organisation, no matter what ever I have belonged to in my youth time. I have never been a member of the communist party at all, ever though I was invited several times for advertising a membership to me, I always refused. The both mentioned organisations above were "forced" on any young person in the former GDR during growing up.
